E wanted senior pictures times 4! The session was for her son, her nephew and their two best buds. She wanted individuals of each high school senior in 2 looks as well as group and paired shots of the boys. We shot in Scottsdale and I love the pictures we got of the high school seniors!
Here’s what worked for their senior pictures session:
LOCATION: Since we were effectively doing four senior portrait sessions at one time, we had to schedule accordingly. We weren’t able to shoot entirely during the golden hour. We shot in a location that affords shade and various backgrounds so the seniors had a variety of backdrops to choose from and so that ultimately they didn’t have the same exact pictures as each other. There was stone, concrete, trees, wood and metal for interesting background elements.
STYLE: The high school seniors brought 2 looks – one more formal and one more casual. They looked sharp! We also did a photo, per their special request, without shirts. I won’t be posting that here but it was fun.
ATTITUDE: The high school seniors were easy to work with and easy to coach. They were eager to look good and took my coaching easily and well. They took on being serious and being fun and we had a terrific few hours together getting their senior portraits to be the best they could be.
ASSISTANCE: E was there to cheer the boys on and help carry their stuff. It’s always great to have an extra set of hands and eyes on a shoot.
